The Utah Snowmobile Association recognizes six different individuals/groups each year for thier efforts during the year. These efforts are not necessarily tied to just snowmobiling. The categories are:

• Snowmobiler of the Year
• Snowmobiling Family of the Year
• Youth Snowmobiler of the Year
• Snowmobile Club of the Year
• Snowmobile Dealer of the Year
• Groomer of the Year

In order to make nominations easier, USA has developed six new nomination forms. Simply click on the award listed above to download the form. Anyone can make a nomination however the nominees for snowmobiler, youth snowmobiler, family of the year and club of the year must be members of the Utah Snowmobile Association. Mail or Fax the completed form to the address or number listed below. All forms must be received by March 29, 2010 for this season's nomination

The winners of our awards will be submitted to the American Council of Snowmobile Associations for national recognition.  This year our winners and hence nominees are:

• Snowmobiler of the Year — Marcia Hyde, Past President of the Salt Lake Valley Snowmobile CLub.
  
  
• Youth Snowmobiler of the Year — Joshua Hendrickson, member of the Top of Utah Snowmobile Association
  
  
• Dealer of the Year — Paul & Rich Weller of Weller Recreation, Inc. in Kamas, UT.
  
  
• Family of the Year — Kim & Karin Chandler, members of the Salt Lake Valley Snowmobile Club.
  
  
• Club of the Year — Golden Spike Snowmobile Association.
  
  
• Groomer of the Year — Awarded to all Groomers, who do a great job of keeping the trails well groomed.
  
  

The National winners will be announced at the ASCA Convention in Prince Edward Island in June 2009.
