Date Conditions
3/29/2010 As of March 29, 2010 we have concluded the snow grooming program for the Ephraim, Manti and twelve mile complex. The lower elevations are lacking in snow pack and the quality of higher elevations are not good enough to continue grooming. Thanks for supporting us and riding our trails. Have a safe spring and we will see you next season.

3/11/2010 As of Thursday, March 11th riding conditions in the Manti La Sal are in fair shape in the higher elevations. With the warmer temperatures the snow is settling fast so get out soon to enjoy the new powder near the top of the mountain. Lower elevations are starting to see a lot of dirt on the trails. All areas received approximately eight inches of new snow at higher elevations during the last week. We were able to groom Twelve Mile again on Thursday March 11th and the trail is in fair shape starting at the switchbacks. Ephraim was groomed on March 5th, Mayfield (Twelve Mile) was groomed on March 11th and Manti will not be groomed unless we get 2 feet of new snow down low. Enjoy and please make sure your machines are registered. Bevan Monroe

All areas received approximately eighteen inches of new snow at higher elevations on the night of Thursday March 5th, the lower elevations are still lacking snow. We were able to groom Ephraim again on Friday March 5th and the trail is in excellent shape. There was some drifting close to the top prior to grooming but are now in good shape. Ephraim was groomed on March 5th, Mayfield was groomed on February 25th and Manti will not be groomed unless we get 2 feet of new snow down low. Enjoy and please make sure your machines are registered.

2/19/2010 As of Friday February 19th riding conditions in the Manti LaSal Mountains are good. We recieved a small amount of snow on Thursday the 18th which helped in the upper elevations for total snowfall. Hopefully we will receive some more snow this weekend, if so we will possibly groom next week the 22nd of February. Go enjoy the snow it's melting quick. The lower elevations have only about a foot of snow and dirt spots are showing through. Ephraim Last groomed January 22nd, Manti last groomed January 5th, Mayfield last groomed January 21st.

Thanks Shon tripp
2/11/2010 As of February 11th riding conditions in the Manti La Sal Mountains are good. The lower elevations have about one foot of snow, but near the top you still have sufficient snow for snowmobiling. Unless we get some snow at the lower elevations we will not be grooming because of concerns for the equipment. The last time Manti Canyon was groomed was January 5th, Ephraim was groomed on January 22nd, and Mayfield was groomed on January 21st. The trails are still in good shape, so go enjoy the snow its melting quick.

Thanks Shon tripp
1/29/2010 As of Friday January 29th riding conditions in the Manti La Sal Mountains are excellent with three to five feet of snow up on top. The Ephraim, Manti, Mayfield Canyon trails all provide easy access to riding areas. Manti was last groomed on January 5th. Manti Canyon was groomed to about one mile past Elderberry Flat. Insufficient snow at the bottom to continue grooming. Mayfield Canyon was groomed on January 28th up to Twelve Mile Flat Campground. Five inches of new powder, but the snow is also melting so depth has decreased. Ephraim Canyon was groomed on January 29th and is still in good shape all the way to the top. However, the lower section has less than a foot of snow. Ephraim Canyon also received about five inches of new snow on the top. Our next grooming runs are scheduled for February 11th and 12th. Grooming will depend on if we get new snow.

Thanks Shon tripp

FYI updated conditions for Ephraim, Manti, Mayfield snowmobile trails:
