Normal Weekly Grooming Schedule

The Don Hatch Trail will be groomed when snow conditions permit, including the trail from Flaming Gorge Lodge to East Park trail head.

Trail Conditions

2/11/2010 As of February 11th, 2010 there is 4-6 inches at the Parking lot of Red Cloud Loop:

The following areas were groomed this week:
  • From Hwy 191 Around the Red Cloud Loop Trail
  • Thru East Park and up thru Trout Creek
  • Taylor Mountain to the Red Cloud Loop Trail and up to the Yurt
  • Farm Creek to Chapeta
  • Mosbey to Paradise
  • The North Slope was groomed only from Stringham Cabin thru the Cart Creek Meadow and back through East McKee.
The avalanche conditions was changed to considerable so be safe in the backcountry.

We encourage you to obtain an avalanche advisory before venturing out into the backcountry. An avalanche advisory is available on our 800 line, 1-800-OHV-RIDE. Also be prepared with the appropriate avalanche gear and training. If you have snowmobile riders under the age of 16 , the snowmobile safety course, required by law, can be taken on line at http:\\www.stateparks.utah.gov
